Project Information

Purpose:

  • To provide a basic trainings site and demonstration of CRIPT technologies in OWL.
  • To Demonstrate OWL construction technologies
  • To WOW the audience without 3D for once

Proposal Deadline: 7th May

Development Deadline: 29th May

  1. Getting started - the basics of Amira
  2. Reading images - how to read images
  3. Visualizing 3D images - slices, isosurfaces, volume rendering
  4. Image segmentation - segmentation of 3D image data
  5. Surface reconstruction - surface reconstruction from 3D images
  6. Warping - how to work with landmark sets
  7. 3D image registration - how to register 3D image data sets
  8. Alignment of 2D Physical Cross-Sections - how to reconstruct a 3D model
  9. The DemoMaker module - creating animations with the DemoMaker module
  10. Creating movie files - how to use the MovieMaker module
  11. Trace Filaments - how to extract a network model from a neuron 3D image data
  12. Multi-planar Viewer - visualize and register multiple volumes
